We are currently looking for super awesome humans to join our coaching team so if you answered yes to all of the above questions, YOU could be the one we're looking for

GeckoSports is a national franchise with a range of sport and fitness programs available for kids aged 5 to 12 years old. Our programs are fun, inclusive and engage kids in a range of sports and fitness activities.

We are looking for a coach for the following weekly sports programs starting ASAP:

* RANDWICK (Tuesdays 2:30pm-4:30pm - Multi-Sports)

* CARINGBAH (Fridays 11:45am-1:45pm - Lacrosse)

* MAROUBRA (Thursday 18th December - 8:45am-11am) -single event

*MUST BE LOCAL (if you are interested in 2 hour shifts, the successful applicant should live within 20 minutes of these locations)

* MUST HAVE A CAR - if you have a car you will be considered favourably and be offered more jobs as they become available.

SEASONAL AND SINGLE EVENTS

Coaches will also be offered seasonal programs at various locations around Sydney as they become available (north, south, east and west):

  • SCHOOL HOURS: Structured school sports (athletics, golf, volleyball, frisbee, hockey, softball, baseball, lacrosse, table tennis, touch footy, badminton) 4-8 weekly programs during school hours
  • SCHOOL INCURSIONS: single day themed events that focus on team-building and having fun eg. mini-olympics, ninja-warrior etc
  • SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: Vacation care centre incursions focused on fitness fun

Shifts are minimum 2 hours per week and will fluctuate depending on your availability but can be up to 10-12 hours per week at various times throughout the year.

  • Have you worked before, or are you currently working with kids?
  • Are you outgoing, enthusiastic, enjoy working with and motivating children?
  • Have a love for sport & fitness and being outdoors?
  • Are you physically fit and energetic?
  • Are you reliable and can demonstrate responsibility, but love acting like a big kid?
  • Do you have a car and are you willing to travel around Sydney?
  • YOU MUST have a valid Paid WWCC
  • YOU MUST complete 'PLAY BY THE RULES' online courses: Child Protection & Safety + Harassment & Discrimination
