Full time, ongoing Practice Leader role available across Epping and Watsonia.
Level 4 SCHADS Award Rate Salary.
Position purpose
This role provides high-level operational leadership to ensure the delivery of person-centred, rights-based services that promote independence, empowerment, and inclusion for participants.
As a Practice Leader, you will guide, mentor, and support staff to deliver high-quality, proactive care aligned with best practices. You will play a key role in staff development, ensuring practices reflect Active Support, reflective learning, and skill-building that enhances participant outcomes.
The candidate for this role must have availability to work a combination of shifts across the week between core hours of 6.30am and 6.00pm, and will be part of an afterhours emergency on call support service.

Relationships
The Practice Leader works collaboratively across Araluen and with external partners.
• Internally, the role engages with teams such as the Executive Leadership Team, People and Culture, NDIS Planning and Coordination, Finance and Administration, Quality and Safeguards, and Learning & Development.
• Externally, the Practice Leader fosters strong relationships with families and carers, community service providers, allied health professionals, local government and advocacy bodies and regulatory agencies.
Key Selection Criteria
- Cert IV in Community Services (Disability Work) or equivalent (desirable)
- Demonstrated leadership in disability support environments
- Strong conflict resolution and mentoring skills
- Experience in operational management and compliance
- Commitment to professional development and safe work practices
