Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data solutions using
Azure DataBricks
and related Azure services. This role involves hands-on development, architecture design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement
    data lakehouse architectures
    using
    Azure DataBricks
    and Delta Lake.
  • Build and optimize
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    for structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions.
  • Integrate DataBricks with
    Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI
    .
  • Implement data governance, version control, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Provide architectural guidance and mentoring to data engineers.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Azure DataBricks
    ,
    PySpark
    , and
    Spark SQL
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    ,
    SQL
    , and
    data pipeline optimization
    .
  • Solid experience with
    Azure services
    (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, Key Vault).
  • Good understanding of
    data architecture, modeling, and performance tuning
    .
  • Experience with
    CI/CD tools
    (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with
    Delta Live Tables
    ,
    Unity Catalog
    , or
    MLflow
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AWS/GCP DataBricks
    .
  • Certifications in
    DataBricks
    or
    Azure Data Engineering
    .
