Prime Vent Solutions is a fast-growing commercial kitchen exhaust and duct cleaning business servicing venues across Southeast Queensland. We're looking for skilled tradesmen who can handle hands-on, technical work in challenging environments - not just cleaning, but problem solving and working in tricky roof spaces. Our work helps keep commercial kitchens compliant and safe, servicing a wide range of clients from large RSLs, McDonalds, pubs, and clubs through to smaller restaurants.

Key Details:

  • Work Type: Contract basis (ABN required)
  • Shifts: 1–2 nights per week (flexible scheduling)
  • Pay Range: $240–$500 per job (average ~$60/hour, depending on size and complexity)
  • Job Duration: 4–8 hours, depending on job size
  • Location: We are hiring for Brisbane area, however we assist various sites across SEQ (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast). Some opportunities to travel.

What the job involves:

  • Cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans) and removal of all grease. This work is often dirty work especially when cleaning inside ducts.
  • Roof work & sub ceiling – navigating fragile or uneven surfaces safely without causing damage
  • Ladder work & confined spaces – climbing large ladders, accessing ceilings, fitting into tight areas
  • Working at night (typically after 9pm) across a variety of commercial sites
  • Physically demanding work requiring awareness of safety and compliance standards

What you need:

  • Valid ABN
  • Public Liability Insurance ($1 million)
  • Strong trade/technical background (roofing, general trades, construction, pressure washing, or similar)
  • Confident working at heights, with ladders, in tight spaces, and at times on non-flat roofs
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work all times of the day, work is typically late nights (starting ~9pm) however some jobs are early morning and during the day
  • Reliability, initiative, and a strong safety focus
