About the Brand and Digital Lead role and about you
In this role, you'll bring a
UX designer's mindset
to create intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences that reflect our brand identity. You'll also lead
graphic design and marketing initiatives
, ensuring visual consistency and strategic alignment across campaigns and collateral.
You'll be responsible for managing SGCH's
intranet (SharePoint)
and
external website
, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand and communications goals. Your expertise in
UX design, digital brand strategy, WCAG compliance
, and
content management systems
will be key to creating inclusive and impactful experiences.
Knowledge of SharePoint
is essential to support intranet development and content management.
We are seeking someone with experience shaping, managing, and executing brand strategy and digital communications. You'll have a proven ability to deliver consistent, clear, and engaging brand materials across websites, social media, digital campaigns, and print marketing collateral. You will bring strong skills in commissioning content, managing an organisation's online presence, and working with stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and impact. A strong understanding of visual identity systems and the ability to implement brand guidelines across formats is essential, along with experience designing or overseeing graphics, infographics, templates, and video content.
You will also demonstrate strong technical skills in design programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, as well as WordPress experience across development, build, coding, and publishing. A working knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid social, and content marketing, as well as the ability to brief and manage external designers, agencies, or freelancers to deliver high-quality creative outputs aligned with brand and campaign goals.
Desirable skills include:
- Experience supporting brand refreshes or rebranding initiatives
- Applying human-centred design principles to communications or digital experiences
- Contributing to campaign development including audience targeting, creative ideation, testing, and optimisation
- Experience using data and insights (Google Analytics, social media metrics, survey feedback) to refine and report on effectiveness will be valued
- Knowledge of behaviour change communications
- Familiarity with video production
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
This is a contract role, based at our Redfern and Liverpool offices currently and requires travel to other SGCH office locations as required.
