About the role

Helping Hands Support Services Ipswich is seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich, Queensland, on a permanent part-time basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them to live independently and with dignity.

Job Positions Available.

Community support and SIL Day and overnight shifts are available.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Providing companionship and social support, engaging clients in recreational and social activities
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with the broader care team to coordinate and deliver holistic care

What we're looking for

  • Experience in the aged care or disability support sector or a demonstrated commitment to the community services industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
