CAD DRAFTER/ 3D MODELLING Junior

About the Role

We are seeking a CAD Drafter to produce precise 2D floor plans and intricate 3D models with the use of AutoCAD and Revit. An exciting aspect of this role is the exploration of 3D point cloud data, where you'll be immersed in the process of capturing and processing models of existing structures, effectively translating work from the site to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drafting floor plans, strata surveys using AutoCAD and Revit.

· Ability to draft in 2D and 3D.

· Performing occasional fieldwork for geospatial surveying.

· Collaborating with surveyors and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.

· Working efficiently in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment across commercial and residential projects.

Skills & Experience Essential:

· Proficiency in AutoCAD.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team.

· Eagerness to expand skills and learn about 3D point clouds.

· Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.

· Valid driver's licence (some fieldwork required).

· Australian working rights.

Desirable:

· At least 1 year of experience in CAD drafting within a design, construction-related field.

· Knowledge in Surveying is helpful, though not required.

· Experience with Revit, D5 rendering, and/or Leica-related software.

· Experience working with geospatial data and 3D modelling.
