About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Marine Electrician/Electronics Technician to join the team at MarineProWest' in the North West of Western Australia. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert electrical and electronic services for a range of marine vessels. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of electrical and electronic systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on a range of marine vessels
  2. Install, commission and test new electrical and electronic equipment
  3. Provide technical support and advice to customers
  4. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
  6. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of electrical and electronic systems and processes

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified electrician with experience in the marine industry
  2. Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems, including navigation, communication and propulsion systems
  3. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
  4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  7. Commitment to safety and quality standards
