About our client

Our client is a leading mining and civil contractor known for delivering large-scale projects across Queensland, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation. They provide end-to-end open cut mining services at a major phosphate operation in North West Queensland, including site development, overburden removal, rehabilitation, and environmental works.

This is a six-month project based at Phosphate Hill, with FIFO from Townsville or DIDO from Mount Isa (approximately 167 km) options available.

What You'll do

Operating 785 dump trucks to support production operations

Safely navigating haul roads and tipping areas in line with site procedures and environmental standards

Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting hazards

Contributing to a high-performing, safety-first team

What You'll Need (and How to Get Started)

Proven experience operating 785 or similar-sized trucks (hard rock, coal, civil, or quarry)

Current RII or signed skills list (within 5 years)

Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and functional assessment

Valid Australian Driver's Licence

Must be clean-shaven for site compliance
