Centennial Parklands Sports Centre is seeking a dedicated Soccer Referee to support and grow our dynamic soccer program. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring fair play, maintaining a positive game environment, and building strong connections with players, coaches, and spectators. We're looking for someone who can deliver high-quality officiating while fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for participants of all ages and skill levels.

We proudly manage Moore Park Golf and Centennial Parklands Sports Centre within Sydney's vibrant Moore Park Precinct, on behalf of Greater Sydney Parklands (GSP). Centennial Parklands Sports Centre has recently undergone major upgrades and now features a state-of-the-art all-weather synthetic field in a prime CBD/Eastern Suburbs location, making it a standout destination for social soccer in Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Officiating scheduled social adult competitions on Monday and Wednesday evenings(6pm-10pm), ensuring fair play and adherence to the rules of the game
• Managing match flow, enforcing regulations, and making decisive calls with confidence and integrity
• Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants
• Collaborating with fellow referees and competition staff to support CPSC soccer competitions
• Staying up to date with the latest rules, officiating techniques, and industry best practices

About You

• Demonstrated experience officiating soccer matches across a range of age groups and skill levels
• Solid knowledge of soccer rules, match procedures, and fair play principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with players, coaches, and spectators
• A calm and adaptable approach to managing dynamic match situations
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Accreditation from a recognised soccer refereeing body (e.g. Football Australia, AFC) — preferred
• Current Working With Children Check, Police Check, and First Aid certification
