Position: Production Team Member

Location: Gold Coast, Queensland

Employment Type: Casual (up to 20 hours per week, 3-5 days per week, with potential for additional hours)

Salary: Junior rates apply (applicable for candidates under 21)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team. This casual role offers up to 20 hours per week across 3 to 5 days, with the possibility of additional hours based on production needs. As a key member of our team, you will assist in various aspects of the puzzle manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our Production Manager in the assembly, printing, pressing and packaging of puzzles
  • Assist with the picking and sending out of orders, both retail and wholesale
  • Operate and maintain production machinery
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products
  • Assist with customer service if required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Must be reliable and honest

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Be physically fit and capable of completing manual tasks – the role will sometimes involve manual lifting, bending, squatting, and kneeling, but also long periods of standing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • An interest in printing processes is an added bonus
