Our campuses offer tailored programs that integrate wellbeing and education, ensuring young people receive the individualised support they need to thrive. We work closely with families, community organisations, and support services to provide wraparound support that addresses both educational and personal development needs.
Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. We recognise that each young person's journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals.
Our Team
BlendED, is an innovative online engagement curriculum program that seeks to address the complex needs that young people face when they are struggling to engage outside of the home or with community or education. A Victorian-first education model that combines online individualised learning with in-person wellbeing support. The curriculum is delivered through a mix of virtual live classes and assigned tasks that students can access anytime they like.?
The Role
The Senior Years Literacy Support Teacher works within a multidisciplinary team to support young people who experience barriers to mainstream education. This role focuses on re-engaging students in learning through trauma-informed, relationship-based approaches and flexible curriculum delivery. You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
You will need
- Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
- Tertiary Qualifications in Teaching
- Ability to obtain a Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- Proven track record of excellence in literacy teaching in relevant year level bands (Junior / Middle / Senior Years).?
- In-depth knowledge of the Victorian VCE/VM Curriculum.
- Deep understanding of evidence-based literacy instruction (including the Science of Reading, writing instruction, and comprehension strategies).?
- Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people
- Experience in supporting young people with disability and/or neurodivergence
- The ability to inspire and engage young people with learning activities
- Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential

The Junior Numeracy Support Teacher works within a multidisciplinary team to support young people who experience barriers to mainstream education. This role focuses on re-engaging students in learning through trauma-informed, relationship-based approaches and flexible curriculum delivery. You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
You will need
