About the role
As a Boilermaker / Rigger at Highrise Building Services', you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of metal structures, equipment, and systems. This is a full-time position based in Wacol, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, equipment, and systems
- Perform welding, cutting, and metal forming tasks to industry standards
- Inspect and maintain equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Rig and move heavy equipment and materials using crane and forklift
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work and ensure project timelines are met
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
What we're looking for
- Qualified boilermaker with a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Rigger certification and experience with rigging and lifting operations
- Proficient in welding and metal fabrication techniques
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
