Wing Plastics is a privately owned company in the south of Adelaide and a leading supplier of Flexible Packaging within Australia. Our product base incorporates a range of various packaging such as Produce, Bread, Home & Garden and Ice. Wing has been continually growing since beginning operation in 2000 and we are proud of our commitment to both our customer base and our employees.

We are looking for an experienced extrusion operator to be based in Lonsdale, you will play a crucial role in the production and operation of blown film extruders.

About this position;

Operate and monitor extruder machines

Perform start up/shutdown and setup of jobs

Monitor quality and make adjustments as required

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Troubleshoot issues

Adhere to all safety protocols and SOP's

Good communication and teamwork skills

What we are looking for;

Proven experience with Blown film extrusion, co extruder a plus

Forklift licence is a bonus

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail and quality

Ability to work shiftwork

Full training will be given to the successful candidate along with inductions in WHS, HACCP and company Policies and Procedures. Applicants may be required to undertake a medical.
