Position Overview

We're seeking a Social Support Worker to deliver engaging activities, plan and cook meals, coordinate transport and manage program resources. Work collaboratively to meet participants' diverse needs in a supportive, inclusive and flexible environment. Reporting to the Social Support Coordinator, we are recruiting for an ongoing, part time role with a total of 20.9 hours per week (0.55 FTE).

  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide activities that meets participant's diverse needs.
  • Monitor allocation of program resources, supplies and ensure appropriate storage.
  • Plan, coordinate and cook meals for the group with support of the program cook.
  • Coordinate taxis and drive transport for participants.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support and/or Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure
  • Qualifications in disability support (highly desirable)
  • Qualifications in food safety (desirable)
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
