Commercial Insurance Brokerage – Account Executive Position

• This is a Full time position based in our Minyama office

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of various general insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients find the coverage that best fits their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, assessing their insurance needs.
• Offer expert advice on the most suitable insurance solutions.
• Research and compare various policy options from different providers to ensure optimal solutions.
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums with insurers to benefit clients.
• Manage client renewals and provide continuous support throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to advise clients accurately.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless client service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker in a similar role.
• Tier 1 (RG146) accreditation.
• Strong understanding of insurance laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze client needs and provide customized solutions.
• Proficiency in using insurance software (e.g. Insight, SCTP, Sunrise) and MS office tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
