About the role
Galleon Way Pharmacy is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis in our Currumbin Waters, QLD location. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring their health and wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative team in a well-established medical centre pharmacy.
What you'll be doing
- Providing professional pharmaceutical care and advice to patients
- Dispensing and compounding medications accurately and safely
- Monitoring patients' medication use and providing appropriate interventions
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining detailed records and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry changes
- Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with patients
- Vaccinating, and other professional services offered in the current Pharmacy environment.
What we're looking for
- Registered Pharmacist with a current licence to practice in Australia
- Newly registered or experienced Pharmacists will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, their uses, and potential interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the pharmacy
