In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering high-quality, solutions-focused legal services across construction and infrastructure projects. This role will see you oversee complex disputes, litigation, arbitration, and negotiations to achieve the best outcomes for major Transport projects.

You will help project teams navigate claims and disputes with creativity and pragmatism, resolving matters efficiently and constructively while supporting broader project goals and delivery.

You'll drive strategy, manage workflow, and provide expert guidance to a small team, working autonomously across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is a senior role offering the opportunity to shape the approach to claims management, helping the team move from reactive response to proactive resolution.

This is a permanent position and is based at Elizabeth St, Sydney CBD with hybrid work arrangements.

About you
Your strong relationship-building skills, commercial mindset, and integrity, developed through at least five years in a construction law environment, will see you bring practical, outcomes-oriented legal advice to complex challenges.

You are recognised for your ability to simplify complexity, build trust with stakeholders, and apply creative thinking to deliver sustainable resolutions.

Adept in commercial litigation and ideally having had exposure to in-house or government experience, you'll lead with confidence, mentor a junior lawyer, and contribute to improving how Transport delivers major projects.
