About the Role

Lady Gowrie Qld is seeking talented and motivated Playgroup Facilitator to join Lady Gowrie Qld in Townsville at the start of Term 4 on Thursday each week from 8:30am – 1:30pm. The Playgroups will alternate between Saunders Beach and Burdell each week.

About You

  • Hold or be actively working towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or be willing to pursue it. Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care applicants will be considered only if fully completed.
  • Have a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard, or a willingness to learn.
  • Hold a current Paid Blue Card and First Aid/CPR certifications, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Experience in creating engaging educational programs that support children's learning and development
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow child safe practices and be part of a child safe organisation
