Yards Person

About the role

Customised Metal Works' is looking for a full-time Yards Person to join our team in Landsdale, Western Australia. As the Yards Person, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, unloading and sorting incoming goods and materials
• Organising and maintaining the storage yard to optimise space utilisation
• Assisting with the loading and dispatch of outgoing orders and materials
• Performing regular inspections and maintenance of the yard, equipment and facilities
• Supporting the wider warehouse and logistics team as needed
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar warehousing or yards role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle manual handling tasks
• A valid manual driver's licence and forklift licence is essential.
