
Scaffold Labourer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Scaffold Labourer / Yard Hand to join our team in South Guildford, WA. As a casual member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient running of our busy scaffolding and powered access yard.
The Key Responsibilities of this role include
General Yard and Workshop Duties: Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the yard and workshop areas.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks
Material Preparation: Picking & Packing scaffolding and powered access orders, sorting & stacking scaffolding and powered access equipment
Conduct stock counts
Participate in stocktakes
General maintenance scaffold equipment
Trade Assistance: Support tradespeople with various tasks within the workshop.
Some deliveries/pickups of hire equipment with ute or truck as required by site supervisor.
You will also have the opportunity to perform forklift duties as required.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
White Card
High Risk – Forklift (LF)
Manual Driver's License (C-Class)
Physically Fit as Manual Labour Required
Proficient in several core competencies:
Ability to count with an attention to detail
Inventory Management and Organization: ability to categorize stock, utilize tracking systems, and maintain accurate records.
Order Picking and Packing Efficiency: accurately and efficiently pick and pack orders proficiency in following pick lists, managing packing materials, and ensuring quality standards are met before dispatch.
Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
References: Ability to provide contact details for two past employers.
Experience: Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment is highly regarded.
