At Miss Maud, we've been delighting guests for over 50 years with our coffee, cakes, and warm service. Now, we're looking for capable, hands-on people to join our Café Leadership Pathway — a supported, self-paced program that helps you grow into a confident Café Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be right in the heart of the action — on the floor, serving customers, supporting your team, and learning how to run a successful café from the ground up. Every day will bring something new as you:

  • Deliver warm, professional service and create great customer experiences
  • Support and guide your team through busy shifts
  • Learn café operations — from coffee and food service to rostering, stock, and cash handling
  • Make quick decisions and keep the café running smoothly
  • Uphold Miss Maud's high standards of presentation, safety, and care

Who We're Looking For

You bring life experience, reliability, and common sense to everything you do. You enjoy connecting with people, keeping busy, and taking responsibility for getting things done right.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in any fast-paced, customer-focused or team environment (hospitality not required)
  • Are confident making decisions and staying calm under pressure
  • Communicate clearly and work well with others
  • Have strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Are fully available across weekdays and weekends (early starts included)
  • Are ready to learn, grow, and lead by example
