Laser Programmer

We are seeking a skilled Laser Department Programmer to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working with advanced CNC laser cutting and folding machines in our manufacturing department.

You'll be responsible for programming machinery to ensure precision, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Programming CNC laser cutting and Brake Press machinery.
• Process internal and external quoting.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Assess work scopes, Engineering drawings, and technical data for production planning.
• Work alongside Laser Production Manager to achieve optimal performance and production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Laser Programmer / Laser Operator / Brake press Operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment (sheet metal).
• Strong understanding and experience with folding process.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills and ability to understand and visualize engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, MS Office, and production systems.
• Understanding of quality standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with a strong work ethic.
