About Telpara Hills:

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and capable person to help us with all aspects of farming. Cattle work includes feeding of bulls with heavy machinery, sale preparation, and intensive reproductive programs.  The position also requires general farm work such as yard and irrigation maintenance, building, fencing, and general repairs. Being mechanically minded would be preferred.

You must be able to work to a high-standard, often unsupervised or under pressure.  This is more than a typical ringer-type role.  We are looking for someone to join us for a long-term, stable position.

Skills and Experience:

-Minimum of 2 years Cattle, Machinery, or Building Experience.  A combination would be ideal.  We can provide specialised cattle training.

-Welding Experience essential

-Mechanical Knowledge preferred

-Confidence in working with large animals

-Fit and healthy

-Truck Licenses treated favorably, manual car drivers license essential.

-Strict adherence to OHS and low-stress cattle procedures

-Not suitable for school-leavers or travelers.
