About the role

Provide high quality laboratory service and technical expertise for the diagnosis and research of animal diseases in a NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited laboratory under ISO 17025 to support Tasmanian primary industries, native fauna and animal welfare.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Essential requirements

• A degree in science relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.

Desirable requirements

• Post graduate degree and/or demonstrated contribution to scientific research.
• Experience working in a NATA ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
