We're looking for a seasoned 
Tech Lead
 to own the technical direction of one of our key value streams - guiding architecture, delivery, and engineering excellence across the stack.

This is a hands-on tech leadership role (~50% coding) where you'll partner with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to ship secure, scalable, and high-impact software.

What you'll do:

  • Drive application security and architecture decisions
  • Build and guide implementation of complex systems
  • Define and monitor performance and reliability metrics
  • Mentor developers and lead by example through code, reviews, and design
  • Contribute to Hutly's technology strategy and roadmap
  • Optimise infrastructure and operational costs

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in a technical leadership role
  • Proficiency in 
    AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, , Typescript
  • Experience with APIs, event-driven systems, Agile delivery
  • Strong architectural, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution

Nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of the property or SaaS industry
  • Strong customer-centric mindset
  • Passion for pairing, coaching, and elevating others
