About the role

Goondiwindi Betta Home Living is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Goondiwindi, QLD. As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our facilities and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct electrical inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Provide prompt and efficient electrical services to our customers
  • Collaborate with the wider team to support the overall operations of the business
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

  • Fully qualified Electrician with current Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and unrestricted electrician's licence
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified electrician in commercial or residential settings
  • Current full Australian driver's licence
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Construction White Card and current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
