Pool Lifeguard – Join Our Aquatic Team

Are you passionate about water safety and love working in a vibrant community environment? Sandgate Aquatic Centre is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Pool Lifeguards to join our dynamic team

About the Role

As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons. You'll be responsible for supervising pool areas, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules
  • Respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
  • Perform water rescues and administer first aid when required
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain cleanliness of pool areas
  • Provide excellent customer service to all visitors

What We're Looking For

  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and safety-focused attitude
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
