Are you a skilled Sheetmetal Tradesman looking to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business? Our client, a leading manufacturer in building products with a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Richlands is currently seeking a motivated and experienced tradesperson to join our Sheetmetal / Fabrication team.

About the Role:

As a Sheetmetal Tradesman, you will be responsible for manufacturing rain heads, sumps and other sheetmetal items, fabricating, forming, bending and joining metal as per drawings and specifications, ensuring high standards of finish and accuracy. You will be working in a workshop with modern equipment, taking ownership of your tasks from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture rain heads, sumps and assorted sheetmetal items to specification
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, templates and specifications
  • Operate shop machinery: brakes, presses, shears, folding machines etc.
  • Form, cut, weld, and join metals using appropriate techniques
  • Maintain quality control and finish as per tolerances
  • Assist with machine setups and maintenance as required
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS policies

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Trade qualification as a Sheetmetal Worker or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience manufacturing sheetmetal products, especially rain heads, sumps etc.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and fabricate to tolerances
  • Welding skills (MIG, TIG or similar) would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and finish quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace safety
