IPH Limited is looking for an exceptional IP Systems Analyst to become part of our dynamic, centralised IT team, supporting multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Wellington or Auckland.

As our IP Systems Analyst, you will play an integral role responsible for configuring and managing systems configuration and business rules within core Intellectual Property (IP) systems across Australia & New Zealand.

In this role, you'll take on a variety of impactful responsibilities, including configuring IP systems, implementing business rule changes, analysing and designing business processes, and customising templates. All tasks are assigned at a group level, giving you the opportunity to contribute across the broader member firms in the region.

Responsibilities include:

Operational

  • Analyse, improve and standardise the business processes across the group
  • Design, standardise and implement IP systems rules and configuration changes across the group
  • Improve workflow in the IP systems through different means such as automation
  • Ensure all templates are up to date and standardised across the group where possible
  • Provide basic systems training for IP Management and Document Management
  • Maintain strong relationship with all business entities and communicate clearly
  • Support day to day issues with IP Management systems
  • Document changes and follow the change control process strictly
  • Document all rules and configuration of the core IP systems
  • Protect data integrity within the core IP systems
  • Assist in setting up or configuring IP systems based on specific clients' requirements

Projects & Change

  • Participate in the evaluation of IP systems when required
  • Work collaboratively with other IT team members to analyse impact of IP systems changes
  • Provide estimates for project deliverables
  • Address and fix issues identified in projects during testing phase
  • Attend defect triage meetings

Vendor Management

  • Maintain strong relationship with the vendors to assist in improving the IP systems

About you:

  • Tertiary or professional qualification would be advantageous (preferably in information technology and management)
  • Experience in IP Management systems or business processes
  • Exposure to VBA and/or SQL would be advantageous
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Inprotech
  • Credible with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent influencing skills coupled with ability to manage relationships and stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated a focus on quality documentation and continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated collaborative working style, with good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated initiative and good judgment along with excellent time management abilities
  • Excellent problem troubleshooting and solving ability
