Isis Central Sugar Mill has a long-standing history within the Childers and Wide Bay region; our Mill has over 125 years of history. We have an opportunity for a skilled and innovative Boilermaker to join our multi-skilled and proactive maintenance and engineering team. If you have a background in heavy manufacturing or the sugar industry, then your next Opportunity at ICSM may be what you are looking for.

A day in the life of a Boilermaker at ICSM involves:

· Welding and fabricating structural steel

· Maintaining our boilers and pressure vessels

· Fabrication repairs to our Locomotives and rail network

· Pressure welding

· Pipe Fabrication

· Interpreting engineering drawings to meet specifications for repairs and new builds around the Sugar Mill and Locomotive Shed

· Assist with welding, fabrication and repairs with our trailer and cane bin teams

· Apart of a team which is open to teaching and sharing ideas to be successful and provide quality workmanship together

What you bring to ICSM:

· Trade qualifications in Boiler Making

· Tig and Mig Welding Experience

· Stick Welding Experience (MMA)

· Experience within the Sugar industry (desirable)

· Experience in heavy industrial advantageous

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

· QLD High Risk License (LF)

· Dogging and Rigging Level 1

· EWP ticket

· Working and Heights and Confined Space Certificates

· Safety First attitude and a commitment to quality
