Qualified Concreter

Shay Brennan Constructions is a respected provider of construction, renovation, and demolition services across domestic, commercial, and government sectors.

We're currently looking for a Skilled Concreter to join our hardworking Construction Team.

About the Role

As a Concreter at SBC, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality concrete work across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, installing, and stripping formwork for slabs, walls, and structural elements
• Finishing concrete surfaces to a high standard
• Operating laser screed equipment for precision and level finishes
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Collaborating with the construction team to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

What We're Looking For

• Trade-qualified concreter with 3+ years of industry experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and safety practices
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• White Card, and ability to obtain a Police Check and Blue Card (Working With Children)
