Sandringham Vet Is Looking for Our Next Superstar Receptionist

About Us At Sandringham Veterinary Hospital, we're a friendly and energetic Bayside practice dedicated to providing the very best care for our patients — and their people. We're now looking for a bright, positive and motivated Receptionist to join our close-knit team

We have a permanent casual position available (approximately 34 hours per week across 4 days) with a regular roster and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to help cover holidays or sick leave.

Pay rate: $35 per hour + superannuation

Our team currently includes 5 vets, 6 nurses, 2 receptionists and a kennel hand — all passionate about supporting one another and delivering exceptional client care. We're proud of our happy, welcoming workplace culture and we're looking for someone who will bring great energy and positivity to our team.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Greeting clients and their pets with a smile
  • Managing phone calls, appointments and emails
  • Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
  • Liaising with other clinics and hospitals
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area, including light cleaning and upkeep of the waiting and consulting areas
