Are you ready to make a difference in your community? The City of Karratha is seeking a dedicated Ranger to uphold laws, promote safety, and protect our local environment. If you do not have previous experience but are passionate about legislation, animals or conservation, please still apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce legislation, including the Dog Act, Bush Fires Act, and more.
- Investigate complaints and manage compliance issues.
- Conduct animal control, fire safety inspections, and off-road vehicle monitoring.
- Collaborate with the community and provide expert advice.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulatory acts.
- Experience in compliance, animal control, or similar fields
- A current driver's licence and Police Certificate.
