About the team and the work

  • Work on high-profile construction projects, including some of Australia's largest infrastructure and building developments across sectors such as commercial, residential, mining, retail and retirement living/aged care.
  • Join a high-performing team supporting a diverse client base, including blue-chip companies, government agencies, and national property developers.
  • Focus on front-end construction and infrastructure matters, including contract drafting, procurement arrangements, legislative advisory work, and negotiation. This role involves interpreting legislative changes across Australia and providing strategic advice.

About

  • Our successful candidate will have 2+ years of construction law experience gained at a well-regarded mid or top-tier firm.
  • You will have a deep knowledge of front-end construction contracts, supported by strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • This is an opportunity to develop your skills and work towards being a senior team member, mentoring junior lawyers and liaising directly with clients. To succeed in this, you'll need exceptional communication skills and an inclusive, collaborative attitude.
