HSEQ Director – Australia's largest Health Infrastructure project

Our client is seeking an experienced HSEQ Director to join the team delivering the largest health infrastructure project in the country—one of the most significant construction undertakings in Western Australia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across Perth-based projects, ensuring that all HSEQ systems, processes, and practices meet the highest standards of compliance and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the HSE Management Plan and site-specific safety strategies.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Oversee implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and mitigation of environmental risks.
  • Manage the project's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in HSEQ - Senior Lead / Director / Senior Management positions.
  • Previous experience supporting the successful and safe delivery of large Construction projects. Previous experience on Hospital projects is advantageous
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Diploma or Degree in WHS, Quality, or Compliance. Lead Auditor certification and ISO systems training. ICAM certification
