Our client is a highly regarded civil and environmental engineering consultancy with a strong track record of delivering major environmental and infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. Due to expansion into Queensland, they require a Principal Civil Designer to join their new based Brisbane team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of civil designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.


• Undertake complex 3D modelling and civil design tasks using Civil3D & 12D software.


• Manage brownfield and greenfield design works, from initial concept through to detailed design.


• Oversee the delivery of designs across a wide portfolio of projects, including land development, resources, stormwater, wastewater, roads, and large-scale civil infrastructure.


• Provide technical leadership and project management to design team.


• Ensure all work is completed within the requirements of safety, quality, and client expectations.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years' experience working in as a civil designer - Land Development, Construction or Mining.


• Proven experience leading design teams.


• Strong 3D modelling skills with demonstrated experience in both brownfield and greenfield works.


• Extensive background across commercial development, sub-divisions, stormwater, wastewater, and/or major civil infrastructure (including roads and retaining walls).


• Proficiency in bulk earthworks, haul and access roads, civil pads, dams, and rehabilitation projects.


• Ability to thrive in an agile working environment with a high volume of concurrent projects.
