Role & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in clients of all ages.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support communication and swallowing needs.
• Work with children and adults, including those with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and disabilities.
• Collaborate with other allied health professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Educate clients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques and strategies for ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• Certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
• Experience working with paediatric and/or adult clients in clinical or community settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or valid Police Check).
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
• ABN (Australian Business Number) for contractor work.
