About Us

Eating House is a busy, family-run modern brasserie in Rowville. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on warm hospitality, great coffee, char-grill, pizza and classic favourites. We're a tight, supportive team that loves looking after locals and making service smooth and fun.

The Role

We're looking for friendly, switched-on waitstaff to deliver great service across floor, barista pass, and basic bar support.

You'll:

  • Greet and seat guests, take orders and run food & drinks
  • Use POS efficiently for dine-in, takeaway and payments
  • Maintain table and section standards; reset and tidy quickly
  • Communicate with the kitchen and bar to keep service flowing
  • Follow RSA and food safety standards
  • Support opening/closing side work

Must-Haves

  • Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is essential
  • 6+ months FOH experience in a fast-paced café/restaurant (preferred, not essential for the right attitude)
  • Current RSA (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clear communication, professional presentation and a guest-first mindset
  • Reliability, punctuality and the ability to thrive under pressure

Nice-to-Haves

  • Barista or basic bar experience
  • SevenRooms/OpenTable or similar booking experience
  • Local knowledge and a love of hospitality
