About the role

We are currently seeking a Crew Member to be part of the Muru Mittigar's Litter Collection Team where you will be responsible for the collection of litter along a motorway, ideally starting immediately.

The work is primarily undertaken at night between 7:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Friday. On occasion the works will be undertaken during day time between hours 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

We have a strong brand in the local community and work primarily on Land Management Projects. All profits are reinvested into the organisation to assist in the delivery of Muru Mittigar's purpose.

  • improve the economic and social capacity of Aboriginal people and

Skills and experience

The following attributes are essential;

  • General construction induction card (white card)
  • Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Class C Drivers License and own transport.
  • A willingness and ability to listen and follow instructions.
  • Applicant would need to be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
  • A willingness to undertake a medical assessment
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently

The hourly rate including Casual and Working Outside Ordinary hours allowance is as follows

Day Shift - $ Superannuation / Hr

Night Shift - $ Superannuation / Hr
