FOH Supervisor

Cocomo + Co is seeking an experienced Barista / Front of House Supervisor to join our team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in exceptional service and quality coffee, and works best leading by example.

As a Supervisor, you'll play an active role in the daily operation of the café — supporting the team, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and upholding the warm, welcoming atmosphere our customers (and their dogs) love.

Key responsibilities:

– Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure service runs efficiently

– Lead and support team members during service, fostering a positive and productive work environment

– Deliver high-quality coffee and maintain consistent standards on the machine

– Provide exceptional customer service, handling enquiries and feedback with professionalism

– Assist with training, onboarding, and maintaining workplace standards

– Uphold café presentation, cleanliness, and operational procedures

What we're looking for:

– Minimum 2 years of barista experience, confident in adjusting grind and maintaining quality latte art under pressure

– Strong floor experience in either a cafe or restaurant environment

– Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team

– Excellent communication, reliability, and attention to detail

– A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming environment for all guests

– Must love dogs – they're a daily part of life at Cocomo + Co

Must have:

– Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a café or similar environment

– Flexible availability, including weekends, early morning opens and 5pm closes
