We are seeking a dedicated
Medic
to join our Security Services team and play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our people and patrons.

The Role

Reporting to the
Medical Services Manager
, the Medic is responsible for delivering best-practice treatment and health surveillance across Crown Melbourne. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with clinical governance, enhancing customer experience, and supporting Crown's commitment to safety and excellence.

In this role, you'll create joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:

  • Provide high-quality first aid and clinical support to staff, contractors, and patrons on a
    24/7 Rotating Roster – Majority Overnight Shifts
  • Auditing safety equipment and restocking of first aid equipment
  • Liaise with other business departments such as Table Games, Gaming Machines, Food & Beverage and Hotels to effectively uphold the Medical Services operations
  • Adhering to all Clinical governance requirements, and treatment within Crown Melbourne's Clinical practice guidelines (CPG's).
  • Provide support to Security Services Department with the delivery of department business strategies, initiatives and objectives

About You

As a Medic, you'll be part of a supportive and professional environment where your expertise contributes directly to our reputation as Melbourne's premier entertainment destination. You will also have;

  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care - HLT51020 (near completion is also fine), Diploma of Paramedical Science HLT51015 or Bachelor of Paramedicine or working toward this (2nd year and above)
  • Comfortable in working in a close-knit team but also the ability to provide treatment while working independently.
  • Relevant industry experience in both clinical and training fields is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, decision-making, conflict resolution as well as relationship building skills
