Labourer/Assistant – Metalwork Industry
Loganholme | Casual with view to full time
We are a busy, all-in-house metalwork business based in Loganholme, looking for a dedicated Labourer/Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who is physically fit, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn new skills.
About the Role:
You will work across multiple departments, assisting with various tasks to support production and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the site installation teams on various projects
- Supporting the powder coating & sandblasting department
- Forklift operation (if licensed)
- Packing and preparing final products for dispatch
- Using hand and power tools
- Cutting steel and general metalwork assistance
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace
About You:
The ideal candidate has experience in site installation/site labouring, metal fabrication, or powder coating. Exposure to CNC metalwork machinery is highly regarded.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalwork environment
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a fast-paced workplace
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Reliable, honest, and proactive
- White Card (construction induction card) required
- Manual Driver's License highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
