Labourer/Assistant – Metalwork Industry

Loganholme | Casual with view to full time

We are a busy, all-in-house metalwork business based in Loganholme, looking for a dedicated Labourer/Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who is physically fit, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn new skills.

About the Role:

You will work across multiple departments, assisting with various tasks to support production and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the site installation teams on various projects
  • Supporting the powder coating & sandblasting department
  • Forklift operation (if licensed)
  • Packing and preparing final products for dispatch
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Cutting steel and general metalwork assistance
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace

About You:

The ideal candidate has experience in site installation/site labouring, metal fabrication, or powder coating. Exposure to CNC metalwork machinery is highly regarded.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalwork environment
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a fast-paced workplace
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Reliable, honest, and proactive
  • White Card (construction induction card) required
  • Manual Driver's License highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
