Security Guard

Permanent part time (minimum 16 hours per week) with the opportunity for additional hours to cover annual and personal leave at this site. As the permanent part timer, you will be offered the additional hours first.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Security gatehouse duties, including weighbridge operation, access control, chain of responsibility for transport, key control, alarm response for various maintenance alarms, after hours emergency response, receiving goods inwards, vehicle and traffic management control plus additional duties contained in the client SOP.

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

Candidates please note, if you do not have the essential criteria your application will not be considered – You must have the following qualifications – Current QLD security license. Current first aid certificate and CPR, Current QLD Motor Vehicle Driver's license, an ability to work rotating shift rosters including weekends and public holidays and have a level of physical fitness to be able to safely complete the duties expected. Excellent presentation and communication skills. An ability to both work well within the team environment and able to work unsupervised is an advantage
