The Role

We are actively looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a passion for Payroll processingwho is ready to take ownership of their role in a supportive and caring environment.  Your day will involve preparing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll for review by senior accountants.

We are offering the role as a 0.7 to a full-time permanent position across a five-day week.

Reporting to the Accounting & Advisory Manager, you'll be an integral part of our high-performing, close-knit team that values each other and supports our communities.

This is a new position created in response to strong demand for our services from existing and prospective clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll accurately and on time
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling bank statements and preparing basic reports
  • Supporting BAS and superannuation lodgments
  • Helping with general bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

About You:

We are looking for a detail orientated professional who genuinely cares about people and enjoys making a difference,

  • You can demonstrate payroll and bookkeeping experience and feel confident with your knowledge
  • You are comfortable using Xero and/or MYOB
  • You enjoy working with others and being part of a supportive team
  • You are someone who likes to figure things out, but is proactive in seeking assistance if you need help
  • You are already experienced working across complex Awards with SCHADS experience preferred.
