Job Description

We are seeking a qualified commis chef who is interested in developing their culinary skills within the hotel environment. This is a full-time position.

What you will be doing:

  • Focus on the daily operations of the Hotel's Food & Beverage Outlets, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service and functions.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point regulations are adhered to.
  • Assisting and liaising with the Chef on duty as required.
  • Demonstrate a variety of culinary techniques and use them in the development of the culinary team.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Culinary Trade qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience within a hotel kitchen or similar environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety requirements
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
