Are you a skilled professional with a passion for welding and fabrication? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in building high-quality truck bodies and trailers. Whether you're an experienced welder or a seasoned welding technician we offer an environment where your expertise will shine.
This role is on permanent afternoon shift (1.00pm to 9.06pm) Monday to Friday.

The Role
As a key contributor to our team, you'll play a critical role in fabricating and building truck bodies to the highest standards. Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications.
- Performing various welding techniques, with the majority relating to MIG welding.
- Applying advanced fabrication skills to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure all work meets safety and industry standards.
- Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
- Collaborating with team members to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Supervising and mentoring less experienced welders (for senior-level candidates).
- Developing and implementing best practices for welding processes (for senior-level candidates).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership and mentoring skills (desired for senior-level candidates).
- Familiarity with advanced welding techniques and compliance with AS 1796 standards (desired for senior-level candidates).
- Previous experience in truck body and trailer building will be highly favoured.
