Procurement Manager - Newly Created Role

We are working with a growing Manufacturing business who have grown double figures over the past 3 years. They are looking for a well-rounded and hands on Procurement Manager to join their team in a newly created role. The role is based in Sydney Olympic Park, and with the business going through tremendous growth it would be a great time to join

Responsibilities:

• Improve existing and develop new procurement processes and strategies
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Oversee a team of 5 direct reports, with strong experience in procurement
• Report directly into the Head Of Manufacturing, and work closely with Accounts Payable, Finance & Investment

About You:

• 5-8 years experience in a Procurement Manager role
• Experience using Supply Chain software
• Strong knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing & negotiating terms
