As a casual Game Development Officer in Queensland, you play a key role in helping our development workforce grow participation through the delivery of fun and engaging Auskick, Superkick, junior and schools football programs, introducing participants to the AFL. You will be trained to deliver fun experiences to diverse audiences in a safe, consistent and inclusive way.

Who This Role Could Suit
This role is great for people who:

  • Have coached, played or been involved in any sport and know how to engage and motivate kids.
  • Are studying education, sport science, or youth work – or are looking for experience in those areas.
  • Are parents or carers re-entering the workforce who love working with kids and want flexible hours.
  • Are looking for a career change or semi-retired looking for flexible, meaningful work that keeps them active and connected to the community.
  • Want to give back to the community and promote active, healthy lifestyles for kids.
  • A footy fan who wants to share their love of the game with the next generation.

Please note we are looking for applicants from right across Queensland from Cairns to Ballina.

What You'll Be Doing – A Day In The Life

  • Running Auskick and Superkick programs that help kids build confidence, stay active, and enjoy team sport.

  • Assist with programs that highlight diversity, including multicultural, all abilities, and Indigenous programs.
  • Promoting AFL pathways and strengthening links between schools, clubs, and local communities.
