Join Our Team as a Field Scoper – Be the Eyes on the Ground for Smarter Network Design

Are you someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving real-world problems, and playing a key role in shaping the future of fibre networks? We're looking for a Field Scoper to join our team in a permanent full-time role that's as dynamic as it is rewarding.

About the Role:

As a Field Scoper, you'll be the crucial link between design and delivery. Your mission? To walk the site before design kicks off, validate existing plans, and spot opportunities for smarter, more efficient upgrades. You'll follow fibre paths, assess infrastructure, and provide clear, accurate feedback to our design team to help bring projects to life.

This is a 2/1 FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) role to remote locations, where you will often be working independently. You must be comfortable working on your own in isolated environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Collaborating with schedulers and project teams to complete tasks on timeConducting on-site assessments to verify and improve design plansInspecting ducts and pits to ensure they're fit for purposeGuiding rodding and roping crews to meet productivity goalsCapturing and updating all field data accurately in project systemsResponding to design and field management queries with confidence

What You'll Bring:

Previous experience in field scoping or surveyingA valid Construction White CardFamiliarity with Telstra fibre networksA keen eye for detail and a proactive mindsetStrong communication and teamwork skills
